What are the main functions of In-Circuit Testing (ICT)?

In-Circuit Testing (ICT) performs various crucial functions to ensure the quality and reliability of electronic components and assemblies. These include detecting open circuits, short circuits, and verifying correct installation of components. ICT can also identify missing parts, incorrect placements, and issues like solder joint defects. Additionally, it measures components such as resistors, capacitors, inductors, transistors, diodes, and ICs. With TestJet technology, ICT can test connectors and IC leads without direct contact. It can measure DC/AC voltage, frequency, and perform electrical functionality tests, including running low-level diagnostic programs.
